- Develop and execute category management strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product development, supply chain) to align category strategies with overall business objectives.
- Manage the lifecycle of category products, including new product introductions, packaging updates, and product discontinuations.
- Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to inform category development decisions.
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and channel partners to ensure effective category representation.
- Create and implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies to support category growth.
- Monitor and report on category performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that may impact category strategies.
Kompetensi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, market analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing product categories.
- Strong knowledge of category management principles, market analysis, and brand development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficient in marketing software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to travel occasionally to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
