- Ensuring the availability and readiness of raw materials for the production process.
- Coordinating with the production department for the availability of raw materials.
- Arrange the logistics policy and strategy of the company to be in supporting the procurement of goods in every place together with the logistics team in all areas.
- Analyze the total needs of the goods and arrange the supply, procurement, and delivery of goods that the allocation of goods in each place can meet the needs efficiently, effectively and on time.
- Gathering information about inventory levels (stock level), conducting periodic inventory checks and analyzing the number and types of inventory in the warehouse.
- Planning and coordinating the delivery of goods from the supplier or warehouse, including determining expeditions and routes, to ensure the delivery is done in a timely and efficient manner.
- Receiving and processing requests for goods from any place, and controlling the delivery of goods from suppliers.
- Prepare a logistics budget and maintain operational activities efficiently and effectively in accordance with the allocated budget.
Kompetensi
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain efficiency in warehouse operations
- Capability to supervise and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and other relevant technology
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices may be advantageous
