- Conduct research on new packaging materials, technologies, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency and sustainability.
- Coordinate the testing of packaging prototypes to assess their performance, durability, and functionality, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to source packaging materials, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to align packaging strategies with business goals and requirements.
- Manage packaging development budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing spending without compromising quality or performance.
